Scrum Master -IFRS17 : Procom KW is seeking a Scrum Master -IFRS17 for a contract role with one our clients in the financial sector.

Scrum Master -IFRS17 Job Details

As a Scrum Master -IFRS17, you will help build high-performing teams by providing support with project delivery, utilizing a deep understanding of agile principles and team dynamics. In addition, you will need to understand and manage the more traditional approach to project management.

Scrum Master -IFRS17 Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of large or several medium, high risk IT projects while leveraging best practice standards and processes
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project delivery expectations are specified and successfully met
  • Monitor Scrum processes and support Product Owner on release planning and backlog management
  • Strengthen the teams understanding of Agile / Scrum principles and ensure application of these practices
  • Ensure the teams actions are aligned with the project goals and vision
  • Bring transparency to Business, IT, and Operations about the team’s progress and Agile processes
  • Foster a continuous learning environment, helping teams adapt to changing circumstances
  • Proven ability to develop and manage detailed work plans, project schedules, estimates and resource plans
  • Define and manage project risks and issues ensuring appropriate strategies and plans are in place to mitigate or handle effectively
  • Ensure effective and timely communication occurs within the project team and between the project team and stakeholders
  • Actively drive and present product plans and reviews, demos, and competitive analyses with the team, partners, and executive leadership
  • Work with larger program teams in building external communication and action plans using JIRA, Confluence, and other tools

Scrum Master -IFRS17 Must Have Skills

  • Domain Expertise 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Scrum Master / Project Manager
  • Experience in Finance
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud : AWS and Azure
  • 5 to 7 years of experience with implementing medium to large range of technology / business projects; ie, finance and treasury
  • Agile certification :  Scrum Master, Kanban,  and SAFe
  • Certified Project Management professional designation (PMP)
  • Experience managing projects, which involve 3rd party managed services.
  • Experience in leading offshoring and global projects.
  • Ability to straddle between Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Office suite, Collaboration tools  such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and SharePoint
  • Background experience in Delivery

  • Ability to emphasis on relationship management and team building
  • Effectively and concisely communicate project and technical information to provide comprehensive and concise recommendations to management
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to manage difficult situations to resolution
  • Strong facilitation skills to conduct successful meetings and ceremonies
  • Ability to create project plans for complex projects with many interrelated paths
  • Action oriented, self-motivated, and solutions driven
