Description de posteBachelor of Education degree (Technology of Industrial Education concentration) or equivalent training. Industrial education courses equal to 33 units which are relevant to prescribed curriculum including appropriate teaching methodology courses for the assignment. Appropriate journeyman's status or equivalent (if CPP). A valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress Ability to understand and effectively carry out general oral and written instructions with minimum supervision. Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy and tact in the explanation and exchange of information. Ability to determine, judge and select an appropriate course of action within limits of established methods and procedures. Resume Cover Letter (please elaborate on your experience and teachable areas) A copy of your transcript (official or unofficial) for your program A copy of the credential received after completing your teaching program A copy of your Certificate of Qualification (from the TRB to teach in BC) Email addresses for a minimum of three references (ideally, administrators from your most recent teaching role) The starting annual salary for this School Teacher position ranges from $59,711-$109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. In accordance with the Criminal Record Review Act, successful applicants will be required to consent to a Criminal Record Check prior to employment.
