Location and role : Our Montreal office; as part of the Finance division, you will deliver high-quality service to clients, colleagues, and insurers.
Salary : CA$70,000.00 – CA$85,000.00 per year (as referenced in job postings).
Your day as an Accounting Analyst
Prepare and enter the journal entries for the month end.Prepare and upload files to the GL, including journal entries, budgets and forecast figures.Contribute to the monthly accounting closing process.Execute reconciliations and verifications for selected GL accounts.Run reports and extract data from the system.Contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements with supporting documents.Provide support to the controllers during month-ends, year-end and budget process.Perform other duties as assigned.Our Ideal Candidate
University degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.CPA designation completed or in progress.Excellent knowledge of Excel, Access, and Microsoft Word.Knowledge of EPIC is an asset.Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English, with interaction with stakeholders outside Quebec.Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Who We Are
