Location and role: Our Montreal office; as part of the Finance division, you will deliver high-quality service to clients, colleagues, and insurers.

Salary: CA$70,000.00 – CA$85,000.00 per year (as referenced in job postings).

Your day as an Accounting Analyst

• Prepare and enter the journal entries for the month end.
• Prepare and upload files to the GL, including journal entries, budgets and forecast figures.
• Contribute to the monthly accounting closing process.
• Execute reconciliations and verifications for selected GL accounts.
• Run reports and extract data from the system.
• Contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements with supporting documents.
• Provide support to the controllers during month-ends, year-end and budget process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate

• University degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• CPA designation completed or in progress.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Access, and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of EPIC is an asset.
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English, with interaction with stakeholders outside Quebec.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
