Full Stack Developer

On behalf of our client within the Ontario Government we are recruiting for a Full Stack Developer for a long term contract opportunity.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced software solutions, including REST APIs, cloud-based systems, and AI / ML integrations. Requires strong expertise in React.js, Python, .NET Core, and Azure DevOps, with hands‑on leadership in Agile environments and technical architecture.

Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines through extraction, transformation, and loading activities.

Translate technical system specifications into tested applications, including developing programming specifications, writing and generating code, compiling programs, and performing unit tests.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during software operation, providing assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Technical Experience / Requirements

• React.js (functional components, hooks, Context API)
• Expert in Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS, and UI architecture.
• Knowledge of microservices, serverless architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Image manipulation and AI / ML implementation experience
• Experience in programming and analysis at an advanced level.
• Ability to collaborate across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proficiency in structured methodologies for development, design, and maintenance of applications.
• Experience designing, coding, debugging, and documenting applications.
• Skilled in object‑oriented or third‑generation programming tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of application design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with relational and hierarchical databases.
• Experience with query languages and various communication protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Proven teamwork and deadline‑driven project experience.
• Skilled in front‑end and back‑end development, including database and DevOps integration.
• Proficient in web architecture design and implementation.
• Capable of integrating UI and API with scalability and speed optimization.
• Experienced in REST API design, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Knowledge of internet‑ready application programming and rapid application development (RAD).
• Understanding of Information Management principles and practices.
• Experience with middleware, gateways, and installation scripts.
• Ability to provide post‑implementation support and documentation.
• Familiarity with AODA standards and accessibility regulations.
• Experience in conducting technical design walkthroughs.
