Responsibilities :   Digital Print Production

  • Operate digital print equipment – Black & White and Color Copiers / Printers
  • Understanding of workflow tools such as Free Flow and / or Fiery
  • Operate standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, bindery, laminating, desktop folders and drill)
  • Point of contact to receive customer requests, provide estimates, schedule, and track print production request / s
  • Perform basic quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run
  • Track and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date
  • Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes
  • Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product if applicable
  • Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels
  • Problem solves basic issues to complete digital print production, delivery, and output requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Attention to detail to allow for accurate balancing of files
  • Ability to follow written instructions for processing different types of jobs
  • Ability and willingness to learn and develop

Associate Document Advisor

  • Overall Project Management - Manages smaller, simple projects independently, manages complex projects with support from Service Delivery Manager
  • Reviews job specifications for accuracy and full understanding
  • Reviews supplier to ensure we have the proper suppliers on the list for the job.
  • Works with Client / Account team to determine requirements and manage suppliers effectively
  • Works with Suppliers and Account team to provide solutions and support
  • Works with suppliers and internal stakeholders to make sound buying decisions which drive increased client value, high customer satisfaction and enhanced margin
  • Reviews job specifications for full understanding of the project. Providing timely and accurate estimating service that meets SLA requirements and delights the customer
  • Determines potential suppliers to quote jobs (on appropriate technology / print devices
  • Manages the quote and award process
  • Manages margins on procurement to ensure that we meet and exceed company’s and client’s expectations regarding cost savings and profitability
  • Analyzes proof(s) for content, production challenges and concerns
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
  • Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe and other relevant software
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of print production including specific industry or application specific experience
  • Relationship building skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Developing IT skills, possesses an ability to use existing and new technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and ensure execution of tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Recognizing and communicating key information
  • Able to operate effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Experience :

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Digital Print Shop and Customer Service environment
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the Print Industry in the procurement field (preferred)
