Billing Analyst

TheBilling Analyst is responsible for driving reporting accuracy and quality control.

The Opportunity

• Track deliverables and project milestones for revenue recognition.
• Monitor aging reports and support collections follow-up.
• Generate and deliver standard monthly/annual financial and billing reports.
• Execute time-sensitive ad hoc financial analyses.
• Quality Control. Review and validate work products (invoices, setups, contracts) from Billing Coordinators, ensuring 100% compliance and accuracy.
• Reconcile revenue and billing reports against internal systems.
• Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and billing anomalies, acting as the primary point of financial scrutiny.
• Serve as an escalation point and provide constructive mentorship to the Billing Coordinator team.
• Assist in updating billing processes, templates, and SOPs.

What youll bring

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a billing role of a high-volume environment.
• Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in a fast-paced advertising, media, or creative agency environment.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data, spot inconsistencies, and provide actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and complex formulas).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle and manage duties in a fast-paced environment while producing high quality results.
• Attention to detail.
• Solution oriented team player.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred but not required.
