Maintenance Supervisor – Warehouse Oversight

We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations and manage our warehouse team at our Hamilton metal processing branch.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll get your hands dirty, lead a small team, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Maintenance Leadership
Oversee day-to-day maintenance of equipment, including cut-to-length lines, slitting lines, and related machinery
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and basic electrical work
Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs
Work with contractors and service providers as needed for repairs
Support health & safety compliance across equipment and facilities
Warehouse Oversight
Supervise a small warehouse team (10 people) handling metal and coil products
Coordinate workflow, inventory management, and basic equipment operation (forklifts, coil handling)
Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards
Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain facility cleanliness and organization
Partner with the Branch Manager on continuous improvement initiatives
Step in to assist wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
What You Bring
3–5+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the metal industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical skills
Hands-on experience with cut-to-length and slitting equipment an asset
Proven experience in preventative maintenance program creation
Supervisory experience managing a small team
Solid understanding of OHSA and industrial safety practices
Comfortable balancing leadership duties with hands-on floor work
