Job Summary

The Security Solutions Data Science team at Mastercard seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to manage a wide variety of data science projects. The role involves collaboration with AI‑driven fraud detection teams and stakeholders to deliver complex projects that secure the legitimate movement of money. It ensures smoother execution of the Security Solutions Data Science program, translating technical solutions into business language and making sound trade‑off decisions.

Responsibilities

Primary liaison between product and data science teams, managing day‑to‑day planning and execution from business understanding through model deployment and monitoring.

Provide the single source of truth for project status, delivering accurate information to the appropriate audience.

Apply the AI Playbook to project management tracking and inform stakeholders to ensure adherence.

Build strong partnerships with product and technology teams, ensuring alignment with data science efforts.

Translate technical approaches and outcomes into business language.

Understand the business strategy and design approaches within product, program, or domain with depth to be credible and influential.

Clearly articulate scope, timelines, dependencies, owners, actions, risks, and mitigation.
