Senior Automation Engineer (P.Eng) to provide technical support and manage vendor delivery for all SAGD Capital projects

Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to provide technical support and manage vendor delivery for all SAGD Capital projects

Must Have :

• 10+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer , holding a P.Eng or P.L.Eng
• Experience with SAGD Capital projects
• Demonstrated engineering experience in the design of instrumentation and industrial control systems
• Strong understanding of control system architecture , control panel lay-outs, instrumentation, and industrial networking
• Experience with P&IDs, Shutdown Keys, Control Narratives, Instrument Index, Datasheets, etc
• PLC and DCS ( Emerson Delta V preferred) systems
• Communication protocols such as DeviceNet, Modbus, Ethernet / IP, etc.
• Competent in risk analysis techniques such as Hazops and Layers of Protection Analysis.
