As we scale and evolve, our focus on innovation and technology is redefining what it means to be an iconic brand that prioritizes a member-centric experience. Data is not just a tool for us. It’s the engine powering our growth strategy and our journey to becoming Canada’s most beloved loyalty program. We leverage it to provide personalized rewards and create meaningful connections with our members.

Joining Scene+ now means stepping into a role where your passion and skills can make a tangible impact on millions of members. With rewards for every lifestyle, we believe there’s always something to look forward to. Come be a part of our journey - create exceptional outcomes, collaborate across teams, and shape the future with us.

Who we need

Reporting to the Director, Data Science, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Analytics to help shape how analytics supports our national partnerships. This is a newly created leadership role at the centre of an exciting transformation within our Data Science team, as we evolve from a function-based structure to one that’s vertically aligned to deepen partner focus and business impact. You will lead a team of 4–5 Senior Data Analysts, guiding them to turn data into insights that drive partner performance and unlock new opportunities for growth.

You will build and execute an analytics strategy that links member insights to our partners’ success, to better understand and serve 15 million Scene+ members. You will foster a team culture grounded in excellence, efficiency, and collaboration, empowering Analysts to strengthen their technical depth and develop the soft skills that drive influence. As a visible, vocal leader, you will partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize effectively, streamline processes, and ensure analytics consistently inform strategic decision-making across Scene+’s evolving ecosystem.

This job posting is for an existing vacancy that is a full-time, hybrid role working three days per week on site in our Toronto office.

What is in it for you

Breadth, depth, and influence. Scene+ is a data-driven organization with one of Canada’s largest and most complex customer databases, encompassing data from dozens of partners and millions of members. Every project you lead will influence how our organization and our partners make decisions, strengthen relationships, and accelerate growth.

Impactful transformation. We are at a pivotal stage of growth, expanding its partnerships, programs, and data capabilities at an unprecedented scale. Joining now means stepping into a transformative role where your leadership will directly shape the analytics frameworks, decision-making processes, and collaborative models that define the next chapter of Scene+’s success. You will help build the bridge between insight and action, enabling our partners and owners to realize measurable business outcomes across Canada.

Leadership growth and visibility. We have a proven history of supporting the professional advancement of our people. Whether you aspire to broaden your strategic influence at Scene+ or within one of our parent companies, you will gain hands-on leadership experience and visibility with senior leadership and the owners of Scene+. You will contribute to national partnership strategies and organizational priorities, presenting insights and recommendations that influence executive-level decisions.

A modern data environment. You will work within a cloud-based analytics ecosystem leveraging tools such as Snowflake, and Tableau, and collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data integrity, scalability, and governance. Your leadership will help advance Scene+’s data quality standards and drive innovation in predictive and prescriptive analytics that power partner and member success.

As our new Senior Manager, Data Analytics, you will :

  • Lead and inspire the team. You will foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture. You will coach and guide the work of senior data analysts, identify areas for optimization and opportunity, and provide ongoing support. You will assign, monitor, and review work; this includes overseeing the development of reports and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. You will mentor emerging analytics leaders and strengthen team capability through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and ongoing professional development.
  • Drive strategic analytics initiatives. You will oversee the analysis of partner and program performance, using data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. You will lead high-impact analyses that inform strategic decisions, optimize partner engagement, and align data insights with organizational goals. You will ensure analytics deliverables directly support measurable outcomes such as partner growth, member engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Champion collaboration and communication. You will manage stakeholder engagement, provide regular updates, and make recommendations grounded in data. You will build trusted relationships with internal teams, leadership, and external partners and owners to ensure alignment and shared success. You will present insights and recommendations to Scene+ executives and partner leadership teams, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Advance analytics practices. You will review results from ongoing initiatives, implement enhancements, and shape the future of analytics processes, tools, and standards to ensure scalability and excellence. You will identify new data opportunities, improve collection methods, and stay current with emerging practices and technologies. You will help define Scene+’s data governance framework, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting and analytics.

You bring :

  • The analytics expertise. You have a background in data science or analytics and a proven ability to transform data into strategic insight that influences business direction. You have worked with large, complex datasets, ideally in finance or fintech, identifying trends and opportunities to drive efficiency and performance. You can distill complex findings into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The leadership acumen. You have the business insight to navigate shifting priorities, balance partner and organizational goals, and lead through transformation. You are confident presenting to senior leadership, facilitating data-driven decisions, and influencing outcomes through evidence-based recommendations.
  • The people development mindset. You have experience leading and growing a team from onboarding to performance management. You can create a supportive and high-performance culture that values curiosity, precision, and shared accountability. You nurture collaboration and empower team members to innovate and evolve their analytical approaches.
  • The technical proficiency. You are skilled in MS Office and have a solid foundation in Python or PySpark for data science, complex SQL for data extraction and integration, and Tableau for data visualization. You are comfortable working within a cloud environment and evaluating tools and methodologies to strengthen analytics delivery and scalability.
  • Compensation

At Scene+, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and market competitive. Our salary ranges are designed to represent the progression from learning the role to truly mastering it.

This role has a minimum base salary of $105K and a maximum base salary of $130K. Our approach to compensation supports each person’s unique knowledge, skills, abilities, complexity of the role and balances it with internal equity to support a fair and competitive salary. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise, while offers closer to the minimum reflect strong potential with room to develop.

Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package which also includes, health and wellness benefits, employer-matched RRSP savings, a performance-based bonus program, and many more perks including free movies and free grocery delivery

    Join us.

We are a dynamic and agile organization that works collaboratively to anticipate and meet the business needs of our partners and the lifestyle needs of our members. People who thrive at Scene+ are mission-driven and eager to contribute to a brand that’s shaping the future of loyalty. As part of our team, you will excel in an environment that values ownership and practical, intelligent solutions. You will have the chance to create and refine processes, identify and address challenges with scalable solutions, and introduce best practices that drive our success.

Our values guide our work, and we consistently measure our progress against these principles.
