Dietary Aide (seasonal)

Job Description

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and providing catering services. The role ensures work areas are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition and assists in maintaining a secure environment for residents, visitors and other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for serving to residents.
• Ensure resident satisfaction with meal service.
• Respond to resident or family member concerns and bring appropriate action to the Food Services Manager.
• Perform set‑up, serving and tear‑down at booked catering events.
• Effectively communicate with residents, family members, visitors and volunteers in a courteous and professional manner, projecting an appropriate image and focusing on customer service excellence.

Pay Range

Base pay range : CA$17.74 / hr – CA$17.74 / hr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
