This is a 10-month full-time faculty position starting in January 2026.

Instructor

Scope of Work : Educate students in welding technology within the Welding Department as outlined in a prescribed program curriculum and assist in departmental initiatives and / or institutional activities that advance the mission of the college.

Accountabilities :

• Teaches assigned academic courses in classroom, laboratory, and / or clinic / field experience settings.
• Prepares instructional materials that comply with established course content, integrate theory with applications, and promote critical thinking and life skills.
• Establishes sound classroom practices, responds to diverse academic needs, and maintains accessibility and availability for student learning.
• Observes all academic policies, procedures, and institutional rules and regulations.
• Oversees student learning activities and academic progress, maintains accurate records, and interprets these to students.
• Participates in departmental activities, supports operations by attending meetings, maintaining educational equipment, preparing requisitions, and contributing to departmental initiatives.
• Engages in professional activities, serves on college or system committees, remains technologically and pedagogically current, and demonstrates ethical and professional behavior.
