Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Lead / Senior Mainframe Developer to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank under the Personal & Business Banking portfolio.

About this Role :
This Lead / Senior Mainframe Developer role supports a major Canadian bank within its Personal & Business Banking portfolio. The position leads end‑to‑end SDLC delivery on complex, business‑critical mainframe initiatives, provides senior technical analysis and guidance to project teams, and mentors junior developers while ensuring adherence to the bank's coding standards. The role requires deep expertise in core banking systems and mainframe technologies, backed by 10–15+ years of design, analysis, and programming experience, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.
