Are you a meticulous payroll professional looking to join a dynamic team? Our client is seeking a Payroll Clerk who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy and teamwork. This role offers you the opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring seamless payroll processing and financial compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.
  • Maintaining meticulous attention to detail to minimize errors in financial records.
  • Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborating within a fast-paced team environment to achieve shared goals.
  • Utilizing Sage 50 / 300 or equivalent software for financial tasks.
  • Preparing T4s and Records of Employment (ROEs).
  • Handling benefit and source tax reconciliation.
  • Mentoring junior finance staff at other locations.

    • About You :

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards as they relate to payroll.
  • Experience with Union & Non-Union payroll and benefits.
  • Proven ability to use Sage 50 / 300 or equivalent accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
