What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Kamloops, BC is looking for an Associate to join a highly successful Private Investment Management team.
Your role on the team will be to provide administrative support, including high quality proactive & reactive customer service, assisting in relationships with new and existing clients.
What will you do?
- This position calls on your client-focused service expertise to maximize each client interaction. Proactively engage in building rapport and maintaining client relationships.
- Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding, including preparing and executing documentation.
- Help manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings.
- Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients : manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
- Reviewing cash balances (debits & credits) for investment or debit coverage for discretionary and non-discretionary accounts
- Draw on your social media skills to update the team’s communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, brochures, newsletters.

The expected salary range for the above position is $37,400 - $50,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary / variable incentive payment.
