Job Title : Senior Database Developer (Microsoft SQL Server / SSRS)

Location : Toronto, ON

Duration : Contract

We are seeking a Senior Database Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to support enterprise-level, mission-critical systems in a public-sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and SSRS reports
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Perform database design, data modeling, performance tuning, and ETL / SSIS integration
  • Support full SDLC (Agile / Waterfall) , including troubleshooting and production support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver on project timelines

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • 10+ years of experience in database development with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in development of enterprise-level information technology solutions by analyzing, coding, configuring, testing, and implementing new and by modifying / enhancing existing applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated experience with development and maintenance of complex SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
