We are currently seeking a Verification & Test Engineering Specialist to join our Ottawa based team with regular travel to our testing locations mainly in the United States!

What will you be doing?

• Execute hardware, software, and system-level verification tests
• Develop and run test procedures for mechanical, electronic systems, and software
• Support integration testing of sensors, avionics, and actuators
• Assist with field testing, including ground tests and flight tests
• Participate in testing at external facilities for : Environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock); EMI / EMC testing and troubleshooting
• Collect, analyze, and document test data and results
• Identify anomalies, support root-cause analysis, and track issues through to closure
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and requirements traceability
• Provide engineering-level production support, including : Investigating complex hardware, software, or system failures after basic troubleshooting has been exhausted
• Performing root-cause analysis using logs, schematics, test data, and instrumentation
• Reproducing field or production issues in the lab and defining corrective actions
• Working with design and manufacturing teams to implement and verify fixes
• Field testing work, including trips to US field test locations, external environmental and EMI / EMC test facilities etc with expected travel of 1025%
