Bridge Carpenter(VictoriaCourtney)

Surespan is seeking skilled Carpenters for work Local to Victoria or Courtney. These are all full time permanent positions for the right candidates and provide strong opportunities for growth and stability.

Only Local to Victoria / Courtney.

Functions of this role include :

• Work directly with the Site Superintendent and Foreman to complete carpentry tasks related to bridge construction
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications
• Build forms falsework and structural components for bridge projects
• Measure cut shape and assemble wood steel and other construction materials
• Assist with installation of rebar concrete pours and other structural elements
• Operate a variety of hand tools power toolsand construction equipment
• Rig Cranes and give proper hand signals for material placement
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Participate in safety meetings andsite orientations
• Follow all safety protocols and hold a valid fall protection ticket.
• Typically working 12hours a day 7 days a week.
