Job Overview:
The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely picking, packing, and preparation of orders during their assigned shift. Working in a cold production environment, this role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively lead and communicate with a bilingual team (English and Spanish). The Fulfillment Supervisor will utilize technology such as Tableau, Google Sheets and communication tools (Slack, Geneva, Gmail) to monitor operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Team Management
- Supervise pick-and-pack operations, ensuring all orders are accurately fulfilled and meet quality standards.
- Monitor order progress to ensure timely completion during the assigned shift.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members to optimize performance.
- Address team member concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Work effectively in a cold storage environment, while training team members on cold storage best practices and safety guidelines.
- Reporting and Communication
- Use a combination of Tableau and Google Sheets to track and document order progress and team performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively using tools like Slack, Geneva, and Gmail to coordinate with other teams and management.
- Prepare end-of-shift reports detailing key metrics, issues, and resolutions
- Compliance and Quality Control
- Ensure all orders meet company quality standards before dispatch.
- Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate pallet jack to move pallets of products.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics role.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with communication tools like Slack, Geneva, and Gmail.
- Environment: Ability to work in a cold production environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in monitoring operations and fulfilling orders.
- Authorized to work in Canada
