Production Machine Operator

We’re looking for an experienced Waterjet Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, understands shop safety, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for operating waterjet cutting machines, handling materials safely, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards before delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Set up, adjust, and operate waterjet cutting machines
• Read drawings, specifications, or follow verbal instructions to complete jobs accurately
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material-handling equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs may be required)
• Monitor cutting operations and remove finished parts as needed
• Inspect cut pieces for quality and prepare products for shipment
• Complete production paperwork and job documentation
• Package and secure orders, including building skids or boxes, strapping, and wrapping materials
• Support other machine operators and plant staff as required
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and lift trucks (Raymond Reach, Combi)
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE and safety requirements
• Step into other roles and assist across the shop when needed
