Salary : $60,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities

  • General Accounting Duties
  • Customer Service
  • Unionized Payroll

    • A day in the life

  • Prepare and release weekly Unionized Payroll

    • Accounts Payable

  • Monthly bank reconciliations and daily account reconciliations including recording, sales, expenses, assets, and liabilities
  • Prepare and / or review general ledger accounts and reconciliations
  • Maintain excel-based schedules annually supporting payroll GL accounts
  • Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Prepare excel-based schedules for annual audit files for external auditors
  • Oversee and Maintain daily bookkeeping
  • Comfortable working with Jonas Premier
  • Preparation of schedules supporting sales / use tax returns
  • Preparation of tax information schedules for completing a corporate income tax return
  • Review and Distribute various mail (physical and digital)
  • Establish and maintain customer and client relationships
  • Updating and Implementing various processes and procedures related to the accounting functions
