Roofing Service Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead our service department. This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for driving profitability, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring safe, high‑quality roofing repairs and maintenance on commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the service department team (technicians, foremen, and support staff)
• Generate sales through customer relationships, prospecting, and preparing competitive proposals
• Oversee all service work from initial call → estimate → repair / maintenance → billing and follow‑up
• Schedule and dispatch crews, manage workflow, track job costs, and ensure projects stay on budget
• Maintain strong communication with customers, crews, production teams, and management
• Enforce strict adherence to company and OSHA safety standards
• Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a skilled and dependable service workforce
• Monitor department finances : review job costs, approve invoicing, manage receivables, and control budgets
• Stay current on roofing systems, materials, codes, and industry best practices
