About the Role

Norstar Industries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support the daily flow of operations between our office, sales team, and production floor.

This role is critical to ensuring production runs efficiently by maintaining accurate schedules, preparing job documentation, and keeping communication aligned across teams. You'll be the central point that connects planning to execution-making sure the right information gets to the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously update the production schedule based on incoming orders and priorities
• Utilize the ERP planning system to determine and communicate accurate lead times
• Partner with the sales team to provide clear timelines for both standard and custom orders
• Generate and release daily job orders for production
• Prepare, print, and distribute complete job packets to the shop floor
• Serve as the primary point of contact for job documentation questions and clarifications
• Ensure all production-related data is accurate, complete, and up to date
• Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact production

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive mindset for catching errors early
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Comfortable working with systems and software (ERP experience is a plus; training provided)
• Clear and professional communication skills across both office and production environments
• Dependable, consistent, and accountable-someone the team can rely on daily
• Previous experience in administration, coordination, or operations support is preferred but not required
