Description de poste

The Market Leader will oversee the daily retail store operations and be accountable for the completion of all duties necessary to operate multiple Dollarama stores on a daily basis. Based out of one “home” store, you will direct operational activities across 2–5 locations, ensuring consistency, profitability, and a strong customer experience.

You will directly and indirectly lead teams of approximately 10+ employees per store, including Assistant Store Managers and Store Managers, and report to the Regional District Manager to drive growth and operational excellence.

About the role : Market Leader

In this critical role, you will manage day-to-day operations, people development, merchandising, recruitment, training, and financial reporting for your market. You will ensure optimal store appearance and inventory levels, oversee work schedules against budget, and resolve customer complaints and inquiries.

You will also lead new store openings, develop market-wide business plans, implement action plans for sales growth and margin improvement , and conduct store visits to maintain quality service and safety standards.

Requirements / Skills

5+ years of retail management experience with a track record of growth in high-volume environments
Proven team-building skills : mentoring, performance coaching, communication, motivation
Strategic and tactical capabilities with strong business acumen and “roll up your sleeves” mindset
Excellent influencing, collaboration, and communication skills
Comfortable with travel throughout the market
