Shop Hand – Join Our Team!
Location : Nisku
Job Type : Full-Time
Salary : $20-$24 per hour
Shift : Afternoon : 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm
About the Role :
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Shop Hand to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong work ethic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in various shop tasks, including equipment operation, material handling, and general maintenance to support production.

Responsibilities
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and responsibly.
Accurately use precision measuring equipment and document findings.
Physically fit; able to lift and move items safely using appropriate aids if needed.
Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving to ensure quality manufacturing.
Maintain a mature attitude toward hard work and the work environment.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
Technical training in manufacturing or rubber machining is an asset.
Experience with stators is an asset.
Knowledge of hand tools, power equipment, hydraulic systems, steam boiler systems, pressure vessels, and safe machine operation.
Ability to read, comprehend, and contribute to technical drawings, written instructions, and technical documentation.
A valid forklift operator’s certification and overhead crane certification are considered assets.
