Location : Shannen Koostachin Centre, 110 Bellagio Ave, Hannon, ON L0R 1P0 Total Weekly Hours : 25 Schedule : Monday to Friday : 7 : 00 AM – 9 : 30 AM and 3 : 30 PM – 6 : 00 PM Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants) : $20.93 per hour.

Education Minimum Secondary School diploma or equivalent Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or similar course is an asset Certifications Standard First Aid with CPR level C Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check Proof of up-to-date immunizations (TB, Tetanus, MMR) Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations Skills & Characteristics Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?
is an asset Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with children, families, and staff Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with equipment and devices A dedicated advocate for diversity, equality, and inclusion Capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic team Key Responsibilities : Play a key role in supporting children, families, and staff where additional resources are needed.
Work closely with program staff to implement classroom and child management techniques Assist with documentation and updates on Individual Support Plans (ISPs) Collaborate in alignment with How Does Learning Happen?
