Our client is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Human Resources Manager. This role does require some travel between 2-3 facilities within Ontario to aid the HR department in recruitment and other HR functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy being hands on!

Responsibilities :
Facilitate administrative functions in the HR department and the H&S Management System
Handle full cycle recruiting for the various locations and departments within the organization
Aid in the onboarding of new employees
Full cycle recruiting and onboarding responsibilities
Monitoring the health and safety records and training files to make sure they are up to date
Assist with WSIB and STD related claims as needed
Requirements :
1-3 years of experience in Human Resources
Pursuing an HR designation is an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel to other work locations as needed
