May include but not limited to : pick non-ferrous metals from moving coveyor, cleans around mill, sort, stack and move materials throughout the yard. Prepares material for loading and unloading, general clean up of yard, cut larger pieces of scrap steel using cutting torch.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• To cut scrap steel to size using a cutting torch into quality control assigned sizes
• Report any damages or issues to the supervisor
• Keeps yard area clean, tidy and organized
• Various lifting and manual labor tasks involved
• To follow established safe work practices at all times, including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE) or clothing
• Maintain and clean equipment as needed and assist maintenance to keep production equipment operational and functional
