Plasman, Windsor 1 Manufacturing, 5250 Outer Drive, Oldcastle, ON, N9G 0C3, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as :
PROCESS TECHNICIAN - Weekend Crew
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills. The Process Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
Mold set-up as required
- Ensure proper set up as set out by the Technical / Shift Supervisor
- Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.
- Direct Set-up technicians, in a manner conducive to their development and education.
- Operate overhead crane in a safe manner
- Set-up end of arm tooling on robots
- Ensure first / last off inspections are completed and maintain SPC aspects of process and react when problems arise
- Perform production runs when required
- Perform tryout and production related duties as required and communicate concerns
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND / OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS :
Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed related post-secondary education
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Preferred 2 years working within a technical capacity
Experience with injection molding processes and set up within a manufacturing environment
