A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN
Picture this : you start your day geared up and ready to tackle whatever comes your way.
As a Water Damage Technician / Labourer , you're on the front lines of water-related emergencies, responding swiftly to help our customers recover from disaster. Your day begins with receiving instructions from the Lead Technician or Carpenter, and you're off to make a difference-whether that means prepping the site, cleaning up debris, or operating power tools to remove hazardous materials like mold and asbestos.
You're not just performing a job; you're a critical part of restoring homes and businesses. Each task, from handling tools to ensuring the site is safe and clean, helps move the project closer to completion. You stay sharp by learning new skills, following safety protocols, and keeping the worksite organized, which minimizes contamination and ensures safety for everyone involved.
Customer interaction is key. You always present a professional, positive attitude-whether you're addressing concerns or guiding them to the right point of contact. On top of it all, you're ready for anything, including emergency calls at any hour, because water damage waits for no one.

Qualifications :
- A positive attitude - and a learner's mindset
- Previous experience in construction, restoration, or cleaning is a MUST-have (minimum of 1 year).
- WRT certification is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be available for scheduled on-call shifts, including after-hours emergencies.
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions - A FULL G - with no restrictions is a MUST-have.
- Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting, material handling, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
