Description de posteMonday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm, with the possibility of overtime and occasional weekends Some travel will be required Safely operate crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials, while adhering to all regulations. Perform routine mechanical maintenance and safety inspections on the crane, boom, and other related equipment, which includes cleaning, lubricating, checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and safety devices. Assemble boom sections to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting. Rig loads and determine load capacities, boom angles, and lift configurations. Monitor weather conditions. Meticulously maintain accurate records of all logbooks, inspection reports, and other paperwork as required. Perform other general labourer duties when crane is not in operation. Minimum 1st year crane operator with minimum 1 year of hands-on experience Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract Ability to problem solve innovatively and methodically around a variety of challenges Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and consistently A team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong spatial perception with excellent coordination and manual dexterity Certified Journeyperson Class 1 driver’s license, with 3+ years driving experience
