Duties and Responsibilities

Cleaning

Sweeping

Vacuuming

Lubrication

Handling of containers and bags up to 25 kg.

Must be capable of progressing to an shift Operator position within 90 days

All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have a safe work attitude

Able to work in a team

Maintain a respectful and positive attitude

Perform the necessary tasks in a timely manner

Computer skills and basic math

Must be proactive and involved in food safety programs

Learn and follow the rules and work policies.

Produce appropriate documentation

Punctuality and attendance at work

Capable of climbing stairs and using ladders

Capable of lifting 25 kg bags repeatedly during a day

Able to sit or stand for long periods

Able to work at height

Capable of bending, kneeling and squatting

Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, hot and cold temperatures and dusty conditions

Able to work in shifts 12 hours to work during weekends and work overtime when required by management

Education or Work Experience

High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus

6 months experience

Additional Information

History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts

Work in accordance with local / provincial legislation

Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
