Our client is searching for a Sales Representative to join their team. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling a diverse range of productive and general merchandise to retail clients within an assigned territory. A successful candidate will build and maintain strong client relationships while ensure quality and consistency in product and service delivery.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Present and promote company products and services to existing and potential clients
- Develop and execute action plans and schedules to identify sales targets and forecast revenue
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity
- Identify and prospect new retail clients within an assigned territory
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs
- Maintain up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their business goals and needs
- Prepare and manage documentation to activate and maintain client services
- Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly
- Highlight top-selling items, seasonal product, and exclusive offerings to maximize sales potential
- Prepare and submit detailed status reports, including sales activity, closings, and progress toward goals
- Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends, client feedback, and new product opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to streamline processes and close sales effectively
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolution of issues
- Develop and implement promotional activities to optimize inventory and reduce stock
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product portfolio
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and market demands to influence product development and inventory decisions
- Identify opportunities to introduce innovative concepts and seasonal promotions
- Respond to customer inquiries within one business day
- Input and manage orders, research and resolve customer issues, and utilize sales reports within ERP system
- Follow up on unresolved customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution
- Preform other duties as assigned
