Campaign Strategy & Execution : Develop, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns tailored to the unique needs of e-commerce businesses, including Search, Shopping, and Display. Data-Driven Insights : Provide detailed reporting, performance analysis, and actionable recommendations to drive growth and maximize ROI for clients. Collaboration : Work closely with our design and content teams to ensure ad creatives and landing pages align with campaign goals. Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with Google Ads updates, trends in e-commerce advertising, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge strategies. Work with a passionate, growing team of e-commerce experts. Fully remote position with an emphasis on work-life balance. Direct impact on the success of Shopify merchants in a variety of industries. At Acorn Strategy, we are passionate about helping Shopify merchants grow through tailored digital marketing strategies. We are looking for a Google Ad Strategist to join our team and play a critical role in driving measurable results for our e-commerce clients. If you’re experienced in managing Google Ads campaigns, love analyzing data, and thrive in a client-facing role, we’d love to hear from you.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, preferably for e-commerce brands or Shopify merchants.
- Proven success in paid digital advertising, including strategy, campaign execution, and optimization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to clients & leadership.
- Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Comfortable being on camera for client calls and internal team meetings.
- Preferred QualificationsExperience working within a digital agency environment, supporting small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Experience with Enterprise-level merchants considered a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms / merchants, particularly Shopify, and their advertising needs.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and leverage storytelling in client communications.
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels and ROI-driven ad strategies.
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Shopping, Display, etc.)
- Meta experience is a bonus
About the Role
As a Google Ad Strategist at Acorn Strategy, you’ll work directly with Shopify merchants to help them maximize their advertising potential on Google. Your ability to build relationships, understand client goals, and execute high-performing ad campaigns will be essential to driving success. You’ll collaborate with our internal team to deliver high-quality, customized solutions that align with our clients' marketing objectives and e-commerce growth strategies.
