- Review and validate incoming project expenditure claim requests for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance prior to payment processing
- Assess submitted program budgets to ensure alignment with eligible expense guidelines and organizational policy
- Analyze program-level commitments and spending trends to support effective financial oversight
- Participate in financial close processes, providing insight into trends, anomalies, and significant transactions
- Ensure accurate recognition of revenue in accordance with GAAP; maintain accurate expense records including accruals and reconciliations
- Translate complex financial data into concise, accessible reports for leadership and other stakeholders
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal and external contacts, providing timely and well-supported guidance
- Generate and review financial and program-related reports to inform strategic and operational decision-making
- Assist with balancing workload across the team by supporting various process workflows as needed
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and operational efficiency through regular analysis
- Support audit preparation by assembling documentation and schedules as directed by senior finance leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Reconcile project expenditure data across internal systems, including ERP and MIS platforms
- Perform other finance-related duties and project support as assigned
About You
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, program accounting, or a related role
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar financial software
- Familiarity with project-based financial tracking and reporting
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay Range
$27 - $29/ hour
