One of the country's largest financial technology companies is searching for an intermediate level Backend Software Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team on a hybrid basis at their Canadian headquarters in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will build cutting-edge backend infrastructure for internal and customer facing chatbot solutions through conversational AI routing and high-scale data layers that connect enterprise applications to state-of-the-art LLMs. You will drive core backend architecture, shaping the systems that power responsive, intelligent conversational experiences across massive user bases.
This exciting opportunity to develop and scale mission-critical conversational AI infrastructure begins as an 8-month T4 contract with strong extension potential, operating on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week) in downtown Toronto, ON .
