Description de poste3-5 years’ experience managing construction or renovation projects 3-5 years’ experience working directly with the Emergency and Restoration industry (insurance); not required but considered an asset Proficient in estimating software and project management tools (MS Office, Xactimate and Xactanalysis) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restoration projects including obtaining quotes from sub- trades, budgets, final repair estimates, and emergency management. The EPM will work with in-house technicians and external sub-trades to ensure the projects are executed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining the integrity of the estimates and the agreements. The Project Manager / Estimator will work closely with the organization to ensure feasibility and costing of projects are within company targets.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for restoration projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and specifications
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure competitive pricing and availability of resources
- Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project phases
- Oversee and coordinate all project activities, including procurement, subcontractor management, quality control, and safety compliance
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among project team members
