Brandt Truck & Trailers is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Transportation for the Nisku area. This position is responsible for direct sales and rental of new and used heavy-duty transportation trucks and trailers. With a solid understanding of industry trends and upcoming auctions, the Territory Manager will forecast and identify prospective equipment for sale or consignment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts
  • Participate in all sales opportunities, and close competitive sales
  • Assure good working relationships between customer and Brandt to resolve problems and grow customer loyalty
  • Profile all accounts, keeping customer contact info up-to-date
  • Maintain complete records related to each sale, including call reports, quotes, specifications, sales orders, expense reports, and other documentation as required
  • Regular travel to assigned territory

Required Skills


Required Experience
  • A positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of specialized transportation equipment and industry
  • Strong people skills, with high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships
  • Ability to work unsupervised, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities
  • 5 years sales experience (or equivalent)
  • Class 5 drivers licence required; class 1 would be considered an asset
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
