ZRS is currently looking for a Senior Risk Services Consultant- Property to provide risk assessment and risk improvement services for customers and business partners in specific or multiple lines of business.

Reporting to the Manager, Large Property, ZRS - Canada, you will provide expert advice on risk management issues to internal business partners and external customers by being a strategic partner to the customer’s Risk Manager and by providing extensive risk insights.

What you will do :

• Assess the risk quality of our large property portfolio related to property and business interruption as described in the appropriate standard(s) and related competency level and assess loss potentials in accordance with agreed definitions.
• Provide risk improvement actions based on NFPA or other applicable standards, oriented to improve the quality of risk of individual locations and on an overall account basis.
• Support external customers by identifying operational hazards, level of exposure and evaluating existing controls, based on Zurich’s assessment methodologies.
• Provide effective advice on risk management issues to external customers and internal business partners.
• Conduct account engineering activities and provide business partners with account analysis and risk insights.
• Represent Canada in global technical center teams and contribute to the development of global technical standards and training offerings in its own area of expertise.
• Support the deployment of technical training initiatives.
• Provide technical support to other risk engineers, involved in the delivery of risk assessment and risk improvement services to customers and business partners.
• Participate in loss investigations.
• National travel (as necessary) + / – 25%

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The salary range provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Compensation may exceed the range listed based on the evaluation of skillset and experience. The starting salary range for this position is $110,000-$160,000.
