Our award-winning team is growing, and DF Architecture Inc is hiring an Intermediate Architect or Intern Architect to be based out of our Richmond office.
DF Architecture Inc is part of Group 161 which represents a diverse group of companies including Atelier Pacific Architecture, Barnett Dembek Architects and DF Architecture.
DF Architecture Inc offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and continued professional development. We are a young, design-oriented firm specializing in residential, mixed-use, commercial, and civic buildings. We are currently working on large scale projects including wood-frame multi family to residential high-rise projects. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team.
About the Position :
We are seeking an Intermediate Architect or Intern Architect that must be registered with the AIBC, or be eligible to register with the AIBC.
Skills and Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of post-graduate professional experience in Canada;
- Strong conceptual and technical design skills;
- Experience with complex multi-family and residential projects;
- Understanding of local building codes and construction methods;
- Experience developing and coordinating contract documents;
- Experience with securing approvals from local authorities with specific experience with rezoning and development permit applications;
- Fluency in AutoCAD and / or Revit, as well as Sketchup;
- Good command of the English language, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
