We are seeking a Labor Relations Student, for our BC Region district - Richmond Office , within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4-12 months starting in May 2025. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Workforce Supervisor.
Here's how a Labor Relations Student for our BC Region office contributes to our team :
Responsibilities
- Assists with recruitment processes for available job opportunities.
- Reviews technical qualifications with various provincial apprenticeship boards and other certificate issuing authorities.
- Support with employee matters involving unionized workforce.
- Verify data in collective agreements and associated documents prior to publication.
- Coordinates safety training for new hires as per job requirements.
- Works with team to understand labor standard requirements for workers on site.
- Assists with various department administration tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
Pay Range : $19.35 - $24.00
PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
