Refrigeration Specialist

Title : Refrigeration Specialist

Status : Full-time, Permanent

Location : Montreal, QC

Responsibilities :

Perform preventive maintenance on systems of all kinds (air conditioners, chillers, unit heaters, fresh air units, etc.)

Read and interpret plans, specifications, drawings or other specifications

Install and overhaul complete heating, ventilation, air-handling, refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, and investigate causes of problems

Start-up and leak-test installations using testing equipment

Refrigeration installation work

Control installation work

Recharge systems with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate systems and carry out routine maintenance and servicing.

Repair and replace parts and components of complete refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, including thermodynamic heating systems

Work in teams with tinsmiths

Requirements :

Knowledge of DELTA control products (an asset)

Meticulous, rigorous, diplomatic and resourceful

Recognized training as a refrigeration technician (journeyman card for 3 years)

Minimum of three (3) years' experience

TAG1 card (an asset)

Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance

Valid driver's license

ASP Construction card

Reading of plans and technical specifications

Ability to work as part of a team

Organized and meticulous

Proactive problem solver

Good dexterity

Ability to work at heights

Good physical condition
