Location : Various locations across Nova Scotia
As a Real Estate Lawyer you will provide specialized legal advice and services related to real estate transactions and property law. Your role will involve guiding clients through the complexities of real estate deals ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and handling disputes that arise in the property sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advise clients on real estate transactions including purchases sales leasing and development projects.
- Draft review and negotiate contracts agreements and other legal documents related to real estate.
- Conduct due diligence and property investigations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in negotiations mediations and litigation involving real estate disputes.
- Provide legal counsel on zoning laws land use and property tax matters.
- Manage the closing process for real estate transactions including coordinating with other professionals such as real estate agents and lenders.
- Stay informed on current developments and changes in real estate law to provide uptodate legal advice.
Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law. Strong understanding of real estate transactions, property law, and related legal processes. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
