POSITION SUMMARY

The Public Spaces Attendant role is an integral position within Deerhurst. This role focuses on ensuring our cleanliness standards are upheld in all guest facing public areas around the resort. Our Public Spaces Attendants are valued for their attention to detail, time management skills and a self-starter attitude.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides daily cleaning and sanitation per standards, including but not limited to : Public Corridors, Washrooms, Changerooms, Activity Locations (Pool, Gym, Spa etc.), Restaurants, and HOST Areas
• Maintains equipment in a clean and proper working order, reporting any concerns in a timely manner
• Ensures correct placement of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment
• Recognizes and greets all guests and team members with a smile
• Ensures the well-being of our guests and team members by being alert to and reporting potential hazards
• Models all Deerhurst Resort Standards while caring for guests, co-workers and owners
• Responds to direct guest requests in an empathetic and timely manner
• Ensures communication of maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Provides support per the Emergency Response Plan as directed by the Supervisor, Duty Manager and / or Senior Leader on-site
• Completes all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF POSITION (include but are not limited to) :

Visa Requirements : Must be eligible to work in Canada.
