Who we are looking for:

The Vendor Manager plays a crucial role in managing spend within key network agreements, ensuring budgets are met, costs are optimized, and vendor support delivers expected financial and operational benefits. This position works closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Vendors to maintain alignment with business objectives and performance metrics.

What you’ll do:

  • Optimize vendor support contracts by aligning spend with business needs, reviewing contract details, validating inventory, support levels, and licensing requirements while ensuring budgets and operational goals are met.
  • Track monthly, quarterly, and annual OPEX and CAPEX expenditures to maintain budget alignment and forecasting accuracy. Identify and manage financial risks while coordinating with Finance to process transactions and renew support contracts.
  • Lead recurring review meetings between vendors and Rogers to ensure business needs, KPIs, budgets, and compliance are met within contractual agreements.
  • Secure approvals, maintain documentation for leadership reviews, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive seamless service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Deliver regular performance reports, vendor scorecards, budget documents, and strategic insights to leadership for informed decision-making.

What you bring:

  • A background in vendor management, contract management, technology, business, finance, or accounting, with expertise in industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial data, network performance metrics, KPIs, and contractual terms.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions, align stakeholders, and build collaborative relationships.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to connect the dots, solve problems, and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across contracts, KPIs, and financial transactions throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • A proactive learner with curiosity and a drive to seek answers and develop expertise.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting deadlines and business needs.
  • A team-player attitude, willing to step in and support colleagues while maintaining focus on key responsibilities.
  • A balanced approach to technological aptitude and business acumen, effectively communicating financial insights alongside operational performance metrics.
  • Experience in vendor management, contract management, or facilitating governance and review forums is considered an asset.
