Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Montreal, QC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will define product vision, manage product backlogs, and work closely with stakeholders and Agile teams to deliver high-value solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders across BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs to maximize business value.
  • Support digital transformation, modernization, regulatory, and compliance-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business, technology, and operational teams to deliver customer, citizen, or patient-focused solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide product direction to delivery teams.
  • Ensure product features align with governance, security, and organizational standards.
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Support successful product delivery throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Product Owner within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments is required.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, digital platforms, or modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, governance, and risk management requirements.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams.
  • Ability to define product vision and roadmap strategies.
  • Experience managing product backlogs and user stories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification preferred.
