Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Indirect Procurement Manager to join our client's team, a pioneering company at the forefront of the sustainable energy revolution. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that are shaping the future of Net-zero emissions.

Location : Southwestern Ontario .
Job type : Permanent | Full-time
Location : Initially Remote (home office). Will required to be on-site when office is available.
The specific location of this role is confidential and will be revealed to selected applicants.

Job Description

This role is primarily focused on the corporate function, The scope of the work will be emphasized on the services entity.

Commercial Procurement : Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, becoming a key player for the new Canadian team.

Corporate Function : Emphasize the corporate nature of the role, clearly distinguishing it from project functions.

Lease and Service Agreements : Manage lease agreements, service contracts, and hire consultants.

IT Systems and Supplier Management : Identify and qualify suppliers, manage IT systems, and handle invoices.

Frame Agreements and Contracts : Oversee a diverse range of contractual responsibilities.

Flexibility and Resilience : Demonstrate calmness, resilience, and flexibility to handle the dynamic nature of the role.

While based in Canada, the role will help support global operations.

Required Experience, Certifications, and Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

5+ years of experience in an Industrial, Manufacturing environment.

Indirect Procurement experience in a corporate setting.

Must have 5+ years of working knowledge in the Canadian market, with a preference for experience in the province of Ontario.

Proven expertise in negotiating commercial and legal terms, drafting frame agreements and contracts, with a solid understanding of contract standards and Canadian regulations

Exceptional commercial acumen, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to adding value and support.

Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating personal initiative, responsibility, and a proactive approach
