About the Opportunity

WOLF is looking for a full-time Sr Manager, Technology : Data Architecture & High-Performance Networking Solutions based in Aurora, ON (hybrid). If you are applying from the USA, a remote position may be considered.

Reporting to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in driving product development and managing key technology solutions for WOLF's high-performance data fabric offerings in the military, aerospace, and defense sectors.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing product lines, advancing future technologies, and establishing subject matter expertise in networking and data fabric solutions.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Managing key product lines, ensuring alignment with market needs and strategic direction

Establishing subject matter expertise in Networking technologies (Time-Sensitive Networking, RoCE) for use in low latency high reliability sensor processing

Establishing subject matter expertise in PCI Express switching topologies and configurations

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customers, to align requirements and strategies

Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior team members

Building relationships with industry thought leaders and representing WOLF in external engagements

Generating technical documentation such as network / data flow architecture diagrams

Representing WOLF in industry initiatives and maintaining relationships with thought leaders

About You

To qualify, you will need a BSc / BA in science or engineering or equivalent technical experience in embedded systems or mission-critical computing, along with 5+ years of experience in product management, FAE, or Solutions / Systems Architecture. Strong technical expertise in one or more of these areas is essential, with experience in the military, aerospace, or defense sectors being highly desirable.

Hands-on expertise in high-performance networking technologies such as RoCE will also be critical for success. While a background in product management is preferred, strong technical knowledge and expertise are essential, with support available to help you develop product management skills as needed.

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency and undergo a police check with no criminal background.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued :

Strong understanding of networking technologies, data fabric architecture, and PCI Express switching topologies

Expertise in Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), GPUs, video sensor 1 / 0, and Al technologies

Familiarity with technologies such as PCI Express, ConnectX, Bluefield, and associated software layers like RoCE / RDMA, OFED_MNLX, DOCA, and DPDK

Proven ability to evaluate new technologies and provide strategic recommendations

Hands-on knowledge of developing technical solutions aligned with customer needs

Experience translating complex customer use cases into actionable product requirements

Background in cybersecurity or IT-related disciplines

Willingness and ability to travel for organisation needs
