BizTalk Developer – HL7 Pay Rate : CAD$105-CAD$110 / Hr

Location : Remote

Overview

Seeking an experienced Integration Developer to design, develop, and support HL7 v2x integrations using Microsoft BizTalk in a healthcare environment. The role involves close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, standards-based integration solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 5 years of IM / IT experience

At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing HL7 v2x interfaces using Microsoft BizTalk Server (2013 or newer) in a clinical healthcare setting

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Key Experience (Scored)

Development of HL7 v2x integrations using BizTalk 2013 / 2016 / 2020

Hands-on experience with HL7 message types such as ADT, ORU, ORM, RDE, SIU, MDM

Integration of clinical systems and SQL Server databases using BizTalk

Application integration design and implementation (new solutions and enhancements)

Requirements elicitation and collaboration with business and technical SMEs

Creation of solution designs, technical documentation, and integration artifacts

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain HL7 and non-HL7 integration solutions

Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize integration performance

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Produce and maintain technical and solution documentation

Support knowledge transfer and adhere to integration standards and best practices
